As a freshman, Evans was a one-dimensional player, a three-point specialist. Basically, if his shot was on, he played, if not, he sat. This year was quite different.
Evans is a great shooter, but he is a streaky shooter. This year, he went through some stretches where he didn’t really shoot well, but he still played. Why?
Because he improved so much in other aspects of the game. Evans averaged 28. 2 minutes per game this year, and that was because he elevated the rest of his game.
