Ohio State offers a top 2028 DB, moves in front for another OL

Plenty of evaluating still being done by this Ohio State coaching staff, the latest offer to go out by way of the Buckeyes was given to five-star defensive back target, Langston Pridgeon . A 6-foot-2, 175 pound athlete, Langston is the No. 28 player nationally and second best cornerback in the 2028 class per the 247Sports Composite.

Florida, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and several other programs already in the fold, Ohio State is wasting no more time building their own relationship with the Virginia native. An interesting aspect to this latest offer, Pridgeon was on the receiving end while on campus in Columbus, and that makes his visit more than worth the commute. From here, Tim Walton will look to keep the Buckeyes heavily in the mix as they pitch why they’re the ideal destination for his development.
