The postseason journey for many local athletes began Tuesday with the start of the District 2-3A track and field meet at Lowrey Field. Idalou swept the girls and boys team championships with 180 and 153 points, respectively. The Shallowater girls followed with 147, while the Slaton boys were runners-up with 125.
