The Cincinnati Reds ย were defeated by a final score of 7-4 on Wednesday by the Miami Marlins. Cincinnati still leads the series 2-1 overall. The fourth game will be played on Thursday afternoon.
Brady Singer started Wednesday's contest, but he never found much of a rhythm on the mound. Singer, who previously dealt with a blister on his pitching hand, surrendered six runs and 10 hits across just 2. 2 innings on the mound.
The 29-year-old has now recorded a 7. 71 ERA across three starts in 2026. After Wednesday's contest, Reds manager Terry Francona addressed Singer's outing.
"He had a hard time obviously putting away hitters," Francona said of Singer. "There were some balls that weren't hit hard, there were some balls that were hit hard... Lot of base runners, a lot of hits.
