Yahoo Sports

It is hard not to be impressed with Juraj Slafkovsky this season.

The Montreal Canadiens have had a great season. At the time of this writing, they have a 46-22-10 record and have 102 points, which is tied with both the Tampa Bay Lightning and Buffalo Sabres at the top of the Atlantic Division standings. Juraj Slafkovsky has undoubtedly been a major reason for the Canadiens' success this season, as he has put together a monster year for the Habs.

In 78 games this season with the Canadiens, the 2022 first-round pick has set new career highs with 29 goals, 40 assists, and 69 points in 78 games. He has also been continuing to make an impact with his physicality, as evidenced by his 100 hits this season. Slafkovsky is only staying hot as the season carries on, too.

In his last 19 games, the Canadiens' big winger has eight goals and 23 points. With how well Slafkovsky has played this season, there is no question that he has hit a new level for the Canadiens. He has cemented himself as a legitimate star power forward, and the Canadiens are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference because of it.

At just 22 years old, Slafkovsky still has plenty of time to get even better for the Canadiens, too.
