2026 NFL Draft scouting report: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
Offensive tackle Caleb Lomu is next to receive his 2026 NFL Draft scouting report.
The Utah Utes had a talented duo at tackle this season. While Spencer Fano may have gotten most of the hype and praise, his counterpart Caleb Lomu deserves his flowers as well. Lomu has been mocked anywhere from late in round one to down in the middle of round two, but what does his 2026 NFL Draft scouting report look like?
Let's talk about it. Lomu, a former four-star recruit out of Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, helped anchor back-to-back state titles in 2021 and 2022 before landing at Utah. While he redshirted his freshman year, he came out swinging in 2024, starting all 12 games, allowing just two sacks on 425 pass attempts.
He'd improve upon his impressive season the year prior by not allowing a single sack across 357 pass attempts and a PFF grade of 82. 1. He would earn First Team All-Big 12 honors for his efforts.
Caleb Lomu is just as athletic as his running mate, but isn't talked about enough. He fires out of his stance with a powerful kickback, often staying squared up and upright. Kicking out, over, and sliding through the line seems effortless and never feels panicked, even with defenders in his face.
