While they might be considering a quarterback, especially since Aaron Rodgers still hasn't signed a new deal, a recent mock draft suggested they may focus on another position. CBS Sports NFL writer Garrett Podell released a mock draft on Wednesday, predicting that the Steelers will select Toledo standout safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren with their 21st pick. "Emmanuel McNeil-Warren can provide the Steelers with a long-term answer at safety who can line up all over the formation," Podell wrote.

"Having Jalen Ramsey as a mentor is an ideal situation for both the Steelers and McNeil-Warren. After taking care of the offense with the trade for Michael Pittman Jr. , Pittsburgh adds a much-needed injection of youth to its defense.

" McNeil-Warren played four seasons at Toledo, appearing in 48 games and recording 106 solo tackles, 11 tackles for loss, one sack and five interceptions. Pro Football Focus ranked McNeil-Warren as the second-best safety out of 914 last season and placed him second in coverage grade. While Caleb Downs appears to be the standout safety in this class, anyone who secures McNeil-Warren will be landing a fantastic player.
