Recent leaks (via Footy Headlines as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia) reveal that the Rekordmeister will experiment with purple for the 2027/28 home kit: Bayern's 2027/28 home kit will feature an unexpected accent color that has never been used before on a Bayern home kit.

This accent color will be purple, although the exact shade of purple is not yet known. This aligns with Adidas CEO Björn Gulden's stated design philosophy of… pic. twitter.

BFW Analysis I’ve always had a soft spot for purple and having purple on a kit sounds like a decent idea. BUT, doing it on the home jersey when it’s traditionally red and white is an interesting choice.

I’m not entirely sure how you put red and purple together, assuming there’s no white on this one. I’m open to different concepts, designs, etc. but making the home shirt the “risky jersey” doesn’t seem right.
