The Kings are under investigation for most egregious tanking job yet
The Golden State Warriors won against a conference rival on Tuesday night but it was not without a little help from the opposing Sacramento Kings. Golden State defeated Sacramento, 110-105, which put the Kings tied for the worst record in the Western Conference. With a little over three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Kings were leading, 101-100.
Sacramento head coach Doug Christie then decided to have Doug McDermott intentionally foul Golden State, and Seth Curry took a trip to the free-throw line. Many, including The Ringer's Bill Simmons, were baffled and demanded attention from the league. Could someone wake up Adam Silver and tell him the bottom half of the league is in shambles?

After the game, Golden State forward Draymond Green discussed what he saw on the possession. Here is what Green said: "I saw a team tonight foul Seth Curry with three minutes to go in the game for no reason in the penalty ... We all know everybody tanking.
" Green suggested that the league fine the organization for this decision, noting that's what they do to the players. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Kings are indeed under investigation but deny any wrongdoing: "I'm told the NBA is investigating the situation ... But Kings sources tell me that, listen, Doug Christie just made a mistake, a strategical error.
