For months, the silence surrounding Nnamdi Madubuike has been just as loud as any update. Since suffering a neck injury early in the 2025 Baltimore Ravens season, questions have lingered. Now, there’s finally a reason for cautious optimism. Ravens strength and conditioning coach Scott Elliott recently offered a glimpse into Madubuike’s progress, and while it wasn’t a detailed medical update, it didn’t need to be.

Most fans will be satisfied with what he said. Ravens strength and conditioning coach Scott Elliott said Pro Bowl DT Nnamdi Madubuike is “working his tail off. ” Madubuike suffered a season-ending neck injury in Week 2.
