The 2027 cornerback, who committed to Alabama back in October, has reportedly decommitted from the Crimson Tide.

Class of 2027 cornerback Nash Johnson has reportedly decommitted from Alabama , per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett . Johnson is a talented cornerback that will undoubtedly receive major interest from various programs around the country following his decommitment. The three-star recruit had been committed to Alabama since October, and Johnson currently holds nearly 30 total offers from a multitude of different schools.

The talented cornerback would have been an excellent fit in the Tide’s secondary in 2027, should he have stayed a member of Alabama's class, but Johnson will ultimately take his talents elsewhere following his decommitment. Johnson is ranked as the No. 68 cornerback and the No.

658 overall overall recruit from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Composite rankings . He is ranked as the No. 75 overall prospect from the state of Georgia as well where he attends McEachern High School.

Johnson’s decommitment from Alabama is unfortunate given his talent and athleticism, but the Tide will now look to reload as a plethora of talented defensive backs remain unsigned from the class of 2027.
