Elijah Haven makes history with EA Sports deal
Elijah Haven, a top 2027 QB prospect and 2025 USA TODAY American, became the first high school athlete to sign a deal with GEN/EA Sports.
Elijah Haven, a 2025 ALL-USA Southeast Football First Team selection, is arguably the top-rated prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle. With that hype, certain accolades and opportunities were always bound to head his way entering his senior season. On Wednesday, the Dunham School (Baton Rouge, LA) QB inked a deal that no other high school player had ever done before.
Haven is the first high school athlete to be signed by GEN/EA Sports. โGEN/EA Sports is about the future, and thatโs what Iโm focused on," Haven said in a release on the website . "Iโm working toward the next level in football, but Iโm also building my voice and my creativity.

According to the release, GEN/EA Sports' main objective is to connect the next generation of athletes with fans and communities as they progress through their careers.
Haven is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2027 class, the No. 1 quarterback and the top player out of Louisiana .
