Browns hosting dynamic tight end for pre-draft visit
Could the Browns go a different route to improve the pass game? Drafting Kenyon Sadiq sure would be a shock
It's hard to believe, but the 2026 NFL draft is only a couple of weeks away, and the Cleveland Browns continue to build their board and host players for predraft visits. Ian Rapoport is reporting that the latest player to visit Cleveland is the best tight end in the class, Oregon's Kenyon Sadiq. The Browns ' pass catchers, not named Harold Fannin Jr.
, were a massive problem last year. They have to improve the wide receiver room, but Sadiq is an intriguing option, as they also have a need at tight end behind Fannin, and Sadiq is a great receiving tight end. He's big and physical, with awesome speed for his position, running a 4.
39 40-yard dash at 241 pounds. Sadiq can make some ridiculous highlight-reel catches and does a good job of creating after the catch. He could use some refinement with his technique as a blocker to be more impactful, but he isn't a bad blocker.
I look at Sadiq as an offensive weapon that can be moved around and would thrive under Todd Monken. So, while he isn't a wide receiver technically, using an early pick on him would improve a problem area for the Browns.
