The Wildcats are in need of a point guard this offseason after Acaden Lewis entered the transfer portal .

It makes sense that Kevin Willard would be interested in the top point guard, and one of the best overall players, on the market. The question remains โ€” is Villanova a fit? The answer might be yes and no.

On the court, Wright is a definite fit and the type of elite player needed. He averaged 18. 1 points and 4.

6 assists per game in his only season at BYU. Wrightโ€™s defense leaves much to be desired. Lewis set the freshman program record for steals in a single season so the Wildcats like a backcourt that can defend.
