Free agent Sophie Cunningham is joining USA Network's WNBA studio coverage during the upcoming season.

Cunningham announced on Instagram Tuesday night that sheโs joining USA Network as a contributor to studio coverage during the 2026 WNBA season. Cunningham's role with the network's WNBA coverage will be similar to Draymond Green's past role with TNT and Caitlin Clark with NBCโboth active players who also serve as broadcasters in varying capacities as their schedules permit.
Last September, USA Sports reached an 11-year media rights agreement with the WNBA to televise at least 50 games per season, including select postseason games. In that deal, the network will broadcast a pair of marquee games on Wednesday nights. View this post on Instagram Cunningham was traded to the Indiana Fever last season, where she averaged 8.
