The Houston Astros are 6-6 this season, and while there has been a lot to like about their offensive production, the pitching staff is becoming a bit of a concern.

But those concerns are not about the actual on-field production, but, once again, just like last year, about the health of the rotation. Against the Colorado Rockies , Cristian Javier and even outfielder Jake Meyers both left the game early. Shortly after they left, the Astros announced that Javier had left for a right shoulder issue, while Meyers left early due to a back problem, both concerning issues for the Astros.

Astros' injury bug is hitting hard vs. Rockies "Jake Meyers left today's game due to lower back tightness. Cristian Javier left today's game due to right shoulder tightness," the Astros announced.

These are two concerning issues. Starting with Meyers, back problems can be very tricky to manage. For the speedy outfielder, this back problem caused him to come out mid-at-bat after a check-swing.
