Satou Sabally says goodbye to Phoenix with Instagram tribute
WNBA All-Star Satou Sabally posted an Instagram photo tribute to Phoenix fans, confirming she's leaving the Mercury.

The Instagram post confirms an earlier Front Office Sports report that Sabally is not expected to re-sign with the team during WNBA free agency. Sabally joined the franchise in February 2025 as part of a three-team trade between Phoenix, the Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever.
The trade, one of the biggest during free agency, was part of the Mercury's concerted effort to acquire Sabally and forward Alyssa Thomas .
