Bills want new Highmark Stadium to have special regular season debut

The Bills asked the NFL about an idea the team has for the new Highmark Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills have some high hopes for the first regular season game at home in 2026 and have let the NFL know that. The 2026 season will be the first one held at the team's new Highmark Stadium. Prior to the regular season, the Bills will have their chance to hold a few test runs in the preseason and during training camp at the venue.

But once the stadium is full go, Buffalo has a request for Round 1: Put it on prime time.
