Nebraska men's basketball continues its offseason with a player entering the transfer portal. Junior forward Berke Büyüktuncel officially entered the portal on Tuesday morning. Büyüktuncel started in 33 of Nebraska's 35 games this season and averaged 6.
5 points and 5. 6 rebounds per game and totaled 34 blocked shots. He even recorded the fourth triple-double in school history against North Dakota with 12 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists.
Büyüktuncel also scored a career-high 16 points in the team's win over Oklahoma early in the season. In the NCAA Tournament, he averaged 7. 7 points per game and a team-high 7.
0 rebounds per game. Büyüktuncel shot sharply against Vanderbilt in the second round, finishing 5-of-6 from the floor and 2-of-2 from three to score 12 points. It marked his first double-digit game since late December.
