Darren Till will shed the gloves and compete for BKFC on May 30.
Darren Till long has been speculated for a move to BKFC, and now it's official. Former UFC welterweight title challenger Till has inked a deal with BKFC and will shed the gloves to compete in the promotion's May 30 headliner at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England. Till does not have an opponent confirmed at this time, but his fight will take place at 185 pounds, BKFC officials confirmed to MMA Junkie on Wednesday following an initial report from Ariel Helwani.
Till, 33, has competed just three times since parting ways with the UFC after a December 2022 loss to Dricus Du Plessis . The Brit has competed in three boxing matches – two exhibition and one professional. The lone pro bout came in August under the Misfits Boxing banner when he knocked out former UFC champion Luke Rockhold.
