Utah T/G Spencer Fano to the Miami Dolphins at No. 11 is a highly-logical NFL draft pick
Utah's Spencer Fano is a 6-foot-5, 311-pound right tackle who could be in play for the Miami Dolphins with the 11th pick in the upcoming NFL Draft . At the recent NFL Scouting Combine, Fano listed Penei Sewell , Tristan Wirfs , Rashawn Slater and Trent Williams among his favorite NFL tackles. The Dolphins passed on Sewell in the 2021 NFL Draft and he's gone on to be a four-time Pro Bowler for the Detroit Lions.
Miami took Jaylen Waddle, who they recently traded . What does Fano, a fellow Polynesian, like about Sewell's game? "I love the way that he moves," Fano said.
"I mean, he can, he can move around. He's making any block, he can block anybody. Just he's able to get out there in space and hit people.
" Fano has strength and movement skills that would translate to Miami's offense. And, he could play right guard in 2026, before potentially moving to tackle in 2027. Or, a team could choose to leave him at guard.
