At Masters Par 3 Contest, Frankie Fleetwood has whole world watching
Frankie Fleetwood, the 8-year-old son of Tommy Fleetwood, has a big day ahead at the Masters Par 3 Contest.
AUGUSTA, Ga. ā It's Wednesday at the 2026 Masters Tournament , which means it's time for one of the best events of the year: the Par 3 Contest. Masters competitors, past champions and their families will head to the East side of the property to the nine-hole Par 3 Course and compete in an afternoon filled with laughs, smiles and incredible moments.
But perhaps the one everyone is looking forward to is one young competitor's swing on the ninth hole. Frankie Fleetwood, the 8-year-old son of Tommy Fleetwood, gave a famous interview in 2024 after attempting to reach the green, saying, "I'm just trying my hardest" when his ball splashed in the water. And this week, the golf world is watching to see whether he can reach.

Tommy was asked about Frankie on Tuesday during his pre-tournament press conference. "We've had conversations. Frankie is very set on what he's doing," Tommy said.
