Lady Vols basketball receive first 2026 transfer commit

The Lady Vols received their first 2026 transfer basketball commitment on Wednesday. Liberty transfer guard Avery Mills committed to Tennessee. The 5-foot-9 sophomore appeared in 59 games, including 25 starts, for the Flames from 2024-26.

She averaged 10. 5 points, 2. 6 rebounds and 1.

7 assists per game. During the 2024-25 season, Mills was Liberty's only freshman to appear in all 33 games. She was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week two times.

Mills is from Liberty Christian Academy in Lynchburg, Virginia. She totaled 2,759 points, 1,000-plus rebounds and 500-plus assists in high school.
