The Boston Red Sox explained how they are addressing a mechanical problem with their rising star slugger.

After reloading their roster and then opening the year by losing their first three series, the Red Sox will be looking to win their first series of the season with another victory over the Brewers on Wednesday afternoon.
But in the meantime, the team has been working behind the scenes to break out of its slump. “As much as it stings you to watch some guys go through it, you come out the other side,” hitting coach Pete Fatse told The Boston Globe’s Alex Speier . “That’s what we’re in it for.

But one of the most critical issues surfaced in a brutal mistake by star outfielder Roman Anthony on Monday. In the eighth inning against the Brewers, Anthony made a surprisingly poor throw to the infield that missed the mark and allowed two runs to score. It was just the latest in a concerning defensive trend for the young slugger.
