Does Brandon Aiyuk have any trade value?
Brandon Aiyuk might not be going anywhere for a long time.
The biggest question of the offseason for the San Francisco 49ers is what will happen to veteran receiver Brandon Aiyuk. The team appears not to be in a rush to decide on his future, and any trade may not manifest until training camp , if at all. Aiyuk has value as a player, but the 49ers have almost no leverage in any trade talks considering his contract, injury history and actions over the past few months.
And, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner , trade offers that include early-round draft picks "have long since disappeared. " The other issue Wagoner pointed out is that because the 49ers don't have any picks after the fourth round of the 2026 draft, they can't even do a late-round pick swap with a team just to get Aiyuk off their books. Wagoner concludes that all of these circumstances make an Aiyuk trade pretty unlikely until the summer, "with minimal return including picks in 2027 and beyond.
