The but being that the Rams likely do not want to spend their 13th pick (or higher) on Simpson when they can likely add someone who can help the roster now.

Of couse, Simpson as a backup to Matthew Stafford sounds nice, but how much does it help the Rams in 2026? And that’s something to keep thinking about, are the Rams going to draft a backup QB in a year where they are going all in? You could draft Simpson in case Stafford gets hurt, but if Stafford goes down, L.

A. ’s season is likely over from a Super Bowl perspective. It’s interesting, but as it stands, tell me this?

Is L. A. more likely to take a reciever at 13, or a quarterback?
