New Orleans (26-54) defeated Utah (21-59), 156-137, Tuesday at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Former Tennessee basketball player Kennedy Chandler totaled 31 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and two steals in 43 minutes for the Jazz. He converted 11-of-18 field goal attempts, 2-of-3 three-point attempts and 7-of-8 free throw attempts.
Chandler was selected by San Antonio in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft (No. 38 overall) and traded to Memphis. He appeared in 36 games for the Grizzlies during a rookie 2022-23 season, splitting time with the Memphis Hustle, the team's NBA G-League affiliate, before being waived in April, 2023.
Chandler also played in the NBA G-League for the Long Island Nets (2023-24), Raptors 905 (2024-25) and the Delaware Blue Coats (2025-26). He played for Tennessee during the 2021-22 season, appearing in 34 games, including 34 starts. Chandler averaged 13.
