Texas A&M is reportedly pursuing VCU transfer guard
Texas A&M HC Bucky McMillan and his staff are reportedly in pursuit of VCU star transfer guard Terrence Hill Jr.
Texas A&M coach Bucky McMillan enters his first full offseason after being hired this time last year, having to build his 2025-2026 roster from scratch produced a transfer portal constructed team that made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year, as senior forward Rashaun Agee led the Aggies in scoring and rebounds, while a deep guard rotation, including senior Rylan Griffen, found chemistry late in the year. However, McMillan's second roster will look very different, with several veterans set to depart, including Agee, Griffen, and others, while the opening of the transfer portal has created more roster holes, with guards Josh Holloway and Spanish sharpshooter Ruben Dominguez entering their names on Monday. Needing more size in the front court combined with another scoring guard who can be depended on to take over games when needed, McMillan and his staff have already contacted several intriguing names, which now includes VCS transfer guard Terrence Hill Jr.
, who is coming off the Rams' first-round win over North Carolina in the NCAA Tournament. After leading VCU in scoring (15 PPG) and assists (2. 8), the Oregon native is looking to make his way to the Power Four level, and while the Aggies will be contending with a long list of program's pursuing the standout sophomore, Bucky McMillan's fast-paced system, which relies on high percentage shots and three-point shooting fits Hill's player profile after shooting nearly 47% from the field, and 37% from beyond the arc.
