The fun has begun.

The transfer portal is officially open, and the madness has begun as the Kentucky Wildcats and teams across college basketball try to get in contact with their top targets before the dead period kicks off.
With Mark Pope and his staff now diving into the heart of their offseason for roster building, they are a prime example of teams that will be practically brand new come the 2026-27 season. With only five to six players projected to return, there will be plenty of new faces in Lexington next season. Names have also started to surface, including guard targets in Zoom Diallo and Devin Vanterpool.
Add in big man Kwame Evans and Paulius Murauskas, and the BBN is already starting to clamor for the first commitment in this yearโs portal cycle. Things are getting crazy, and that was only Day 1. Let the portal madness commence.
