2026 Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off Field includes Wisconsin men's hockey
All eyes may currently be on the Frozen Four, but Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey fans always have the Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off to look forward to. As always, Wisconsin's men's hockey program will be one of the four teams competing in the 2026 edition of the face-off. Kwik Trip announced the entire field for the face-off, which takes place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, WI, from December 29-30, 2026.
Wisconsin will be joined by Arizona State, UMass, and Northern Michigan. For reference, last year's field consisted of Wisconsin, Boston College, Western Michigan, and Lake Superior State. Wisconsin has won three of the five face-offs and has been the runner-up twice.
Of the four teams competing in the 2026 face-off, UMass is the only returning team. The Minutemen were ranked No. 15 when they took third place in 2022.
