Duke softball is surging at midseason, winning 19 of its last 22 games and sitting near the top of ACC standings.
With conference tournaments about a month away, Duke softball is riding a five-game winning streak. The Blue Devils (28-11, 13-2 ACC), led by coach Marissa Young in their ninth season, swept No. 11 Virginia over the weekend and started its winning-streak with wins over Campbell and No.
19 Stanford. Duke is 10-7 against ranked opponents and has won its last 19 out of 22 games. Following its sweep over the Cavaliers, the Blue Devils have a midweek contest at Liberty on Wednesday, April 8, before a weekend series at UNC between April 10-April 12 at Anderson Stadium.
Their next home game is hosting Tennessee at Smith Family Stadium for a midweek game on Wednesday, April 15. Still, Duke has won each of its five conference series, sweeping California, Georgia Tech and Virginia.
