Real Madrid boss says referees missed important calls in loss to Bayern Munich
Did Real Madrid get hosed vs. Bayern Munich?

Well, during Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League, Real head coach Álvaro Arbeloa did just that. First, Arbeloa said that Bayern Munich center-back Jonathan Tah deserved a red card for his tackle on Kylian Mbappé before saying that his guy, Aurélien Tchouaméni, did not deserve to receive a first half yellow card — which will put him out on suspension for leg two of the tie: 🚨 Álvaro Arbeloa: “I don't understand how Tah wasn't sent off for his tackle on Mbappé”. “Also, I don't understand how Tchouaméni was given a yellow, but now he's suspended, so we have to find a solution for that”.

Arbeloa will be looking for solutions on how he can get his team ready to go for leg two, but it will not be easy on the road at the Allianz Arena. For Arbeloa, the focus will need to be less on the referees and more on how to slow down Bayern Munich’s vaunted attack. Similarly, the Bavarians had better make some defensive improvements as well.
