Real Madrid failed to match the squad chemistry of Bayern Munich
FC Bayern thoroughly outplayed Real Madrid in the first leg victory.

While the home-side has much to rejoice from the result which ended in a narrow defeat, the cohesion of the team should be worrying.
It was shadow compared to the rhythm of the Bavarians. Scorer of the second goal, Harry Kane, reflected very positively on the strong connection in the Bayern squad. In an interview with Football on TNT , Harry Kane gave an insight into the chemistry of the German side.
Interviewer: As a team, you just looked to all be singing from the same hymn sheet. Is that fair to say? Harry Kane: Yeah, we’ve enjoyed some really good moments together.
Obviously we’re in business at the end of the season now, so we’re hoping we can maintain that. But I think the more you play together, the more you train, the feelings get even stronger. Harry Kane: We always feel dangerous.
