SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Wall baseball and the 5th ranked Hawks were back in action Tuesday night. The boys would handle Clyde easily en route to a 15-1 win to stay undefeated in district play. The first inning started fast for the Hawks.
The top of the 1st frame saw the fellas get themselves into a small jam, but would slow the momentum after recording an out on the Bulldogs attempt to steal home. The Hawks went into the bottom of that frame and didn’t look back. A base hit, a stolen base, a man ran over at first base and a two run homer started this game off.
And it was 3-0 exiting that first frame. 10-0 exiting the 2nd inning and all Hawks all game after the 15-1 final score. Wall now turns their attention to Abilene high whom they take on this Friday as a tune up game before concluding district play next week.
