Notre Dame Football is getting a different type of Bus treatment
A Notre Dame hater and a Notre Dame born-again lover come to campus to hang out with Marcus Freeman and the program.
Normally when you think about Notre Dame Football and a bus, you automatically think about Jerome Bettis — as you should. However, in the year of our Lord 2026, in the world of college football, the word “bus” is most often concerning the wild,y popular “Bussin With The Boys” podcast with former Nebraska linebacker, Will Compton, and former Michigan lineman (and luckiest bastard to never get flags thrown on him) Taylor Lewan. Got it?
Good, because they just brought their bus circus to South Bend for a spotlight on Notre Dame, and Day one is already off to a fun start. For the record… while I don’t particularly like a lot of Barstool stuff (Portnoy and a lot of what he brings to the table especially) that doesn’t mean I’m anti-Barstool. Bussin’ With The Boys is one of those shows that I do enjoy quite a bit.
Hell — Will Compton was basically one of us tweeting into the void about the criminal act of leaving Notre Dame out of the playoffs. And I’m going to be honest… Notre Dame puts a massive clamp on the beat. The rules we have to follow on gameday and otherwise so we don’t get shunned like an Amish guy that just wants to marry some stripper named Stacy and drink mimosas all day, are quite restrictive.
We like fun stuff too, but that generally only goes to bigger/national outlets. National shows dropping in on the program allows fans to see a different side of the Irish (kind of) than what is normally shown. (Of course I’m jealous because I’m confident I could dunk all over Francis Brewu).
