Virginia Tech basketball: Two more players enter transfer portal

The Virginia Tech Hokies saw two more players enter the transfer portal: freshman center Antonio Dorn and freshman guard Brett Freeman.

Dorn and Freeman are the fifth and sixth players from Virginia Tech’s 2025-26 roster to enter the portal, following Neoklis Avdalas, Jaden Schutt, Christian Gurdak and Izaiah Pasha. Five of the six players who entered spent only one season in Blacksburg. The 7-foot-0 Dorn came to Virginia Tech from Germany.

He missed a total of seven games with a back injury and another due to an eligibility issue. He appeared in 24 games, made five starts, averaged 2. 6 points and 1.

8 rebounds per game. Dorn has two years of eligibility remaining. Freeman, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound guard from Charlotte, North Carolina, redshirted this past season and did not play.
