Reliever Alex Vesia took over for Yamamoto and with two men on, loaded the bases with no outs. He then retired the next three batters and protected the Dodgersโ lead. Alex Vesia.
He comes in with no outs in the bottom of the seventh inning, with a runner on 1st and 3rd. He gives up a full count walk and then gets three clutch outs. 15 pitches (10 strikes) and a strikeout was all it took for the ever-reliable lefty.
