With the franchise placing the tag on Pitts, some thought he wouldn't sign it as he wanted a long-term deal, and as such, could hold out of the offseason program. But in what is a huge win for new head coach Kevin Stefanski, Pitts has signed his tender, per NFL Network, and even reported to the facility to begin voluntary offseason workouts. That is a huge win for Stefanski and the Falcons.

Well, that will be the plan for the Falcons. The tag is a mere placeholder until the two sides can come to terms on a new deal. Set to earn roughly $15 million in 2026 if the two sides can agree to a new deal before the July 15 deadline, Pitts is taken care of either way.
