ESPN's Adam Schefter recently addressed the Pittsburgh Steelers-Aaron Rodgers deadline rumors.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are facing an eerily similar situation as Aaron Rodgers continues to drag out his decision whether or not to play in 2026. And ESPN's Adam Schefter recently According to Schefter, the Steelers likely haven't put a deadline on Rodgers' 2026 decision, but they'd like to know before the NFL Draft . "I don't think there's a deadline, but I do think the Steelers would like to know before the draft," Schefter said via The Pat McAfee Show.

"I don't think it matters. I think if Aaron just dragged this into May, or June, he could do that. Again, I don't mean to oversimplify this, but either you want to play or you don't.

It shouldn't be that hard. " "What do you got on Aaron Rodgers @OfficialAJHawk ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ I don't think there's a deadline but I do think the Steelers would like to know before the draft" @AdamSchefter #PMSLive pic. twitter.

If Schefter's prediction is accurate and there really isn't a deadline on Rodgers this go around, the Steelers may need to keep a closer eye on the 2026 NFL Draft quarterback class, on a rare chance he decides to retire at 42 years old.
