This is great for Kansas City, not so great for the AFC.

We know that the Kansas City Chiefs are going through a little roster refresh this offseason, with general manager Brett Veach bringing in Kenneth Walker, but also seeing both Jaylen Warren and Trent McDuffie leave.

With two first-round draft picks, the Chiefs have the ammunition to do a lot on draft night to improve the roster at multiple spots. Picking at No. 9, the Chiefs have the chance to grab a true difference-maker for Andy Reid.

Whether that is on a pass rusher like Reuben Bain Jr, a stud corner in Mansoor Delane, or another player, Kansas City has options. But for ESPN's Peter Schrager, in his latest mock draft, the Chiefs take stud receiver Jordyn Tyson at No. 9.

โ€œWith a top-10 pick for the first time since 2017 -- when the Chiefs took some guy named Patrick Mahomes -- Kansas City can go in a variety of directions here,โ€ Schrager wrote . โ€œCornerback and edge rusher are certainly options. I still think finding offensive playmakers is a major priority, though, especially with Mahomes coming off the ACL injury.
