The Mets brought up Mauricio to fill the roster spot vacated by Juan Soto, who landed on the injured list Monday due to a right calf strain. That came after the Mets (7-4) tied the game in the eighth, when Jared Young lifted a sacrifice fly against former Yankees right-hander Jonathan Loáisiga to make it a 3-3 game.
