The Uruguayan is starting a new project with his wife

The Uruguayan defender has had a rough patch recently playing for FC Barcelona. Sparks of great play or important goals have been cut intermittingly with poor runs of form and injuries. He was forced off the last match against Atlético Madrid with a muscle strain in his left thigh.
It’s precisely during those tough moments that Araujo has said he has turned to family and faith. The defender notably took a mental health break recently to travel to Tel Aviv, Israel, which included reconnecting spiritually. The couple, together since 2016, were married last year.
