Devin Vanterpool in contact with Kentucky Basketball
Vanterpool broke out this past season and is now drawing interest from the Kentucky Wildcats.

They need creators and scorers.
From what’s being reported, Mark Pope and the Cats are meeting, Zooming, FaceTiming, and doing whatever else they can to sign players that fit the molds of being creators and scorers. One of those players is Florida Atlantic guard Devin Vanterpool, who Kentucky is showing interest in, according to KSR’s Jacob Polacheck . The 6-4, 190-pound signed with the Owls just after their Final Four run in 2023.
He was coached for one season by former head coach Dusty May, who is now the head coach of the National Champion Michigan Wolverines. Vanterpool broke out this past season and was named the American Conference’s Most Improved Player. He averaged 15.
8 points per game while shooting 43. 8% from the floor and 35. 1% from 3-point range.
