Miller looks to lead a new charge for a Benson squad that went 3-18 last year, which included a 1-13 record in the West Central Conference. It was the Braves' final season in the WCC. Benson, which sought a better fit conference-wise, joined the Prairie.
Its conference opponents are Browerville, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Osakis, Swanville and Upsala. "We are looking forward to the season and joining a new conference," Miller said. "Our girls have been working hard in practice and they are showing great progress.
