FSU freshman guard to enter transfer portal
Xavier Osceola is entering the transfer portal after one season with FSU basketball.
FSU true freshman guard Xavier Osceola has entered the transfer portal, he announced on Instagram. He did not play for the Seminoles during the 2025-26 season and will have four seasons of eligibility at his next stop. The 6-foot-1, 175-pounder is from Hollywood, Florida, and attended the Nova Southeastern University School before signing with FSU.

He competed in the Native American Basketball Invitational prior to his season with FSU. Osceola is the sixth FSU player to enter the transfer portal, which opened on Tuesday, April 7.
He joins guards Cam Miles, Martin Somerville, Maximo Garcia-Plata, and forwards Alier Maluk and Shah Muhammad, who are departing the program. Luke Loucks will once again be turning over the majority of FSU's roster, with six seniors also out of eligibility. The only players who could return for next season are forwards Thomas Bassong and AJ Swinton, and guards Jalen Crawford and Jasen Lopez.
