The Kentucky Wildcats are making contact with multiple transfer portal entrants, including Washington point guard Zoom Diallo.

The transfer portal news for the Kentucky Wildcats is coming in fast now that it has officially opened. Mark Pope and his staff have begun to make contact and set up calls with some of the top available players, and are set to host a Zoom meeting with Washington point guard Zoom Diallo , according to Kentucky Sports Radio . Diallo is a 6'4", 180 lb point guard who was a four-star member of the 2024 recruiting class.

He committed to the Washington Huskies over schools like Arizona and Gonzaga, and started 22 games as a freshman. Last season, Diallo was terrific, averaging 15. 7 points, 3.

9 rebounds, and 4. 5 assists per game. He was only a 31% shooter from three-point range, but he drastically improved from year one to year two, so there is potential for more growth in that area as well.

Kentucky will be talking to Diallo either Tuesday night or Wednesday, and would be a good fit. Pope has made finding a point guard a priority after things went south last year. Diallo has two years of eligibility remaining.
