Florida baseball has already claimed the season series against FSU, but the Gators are looking to complete the sweep in enemy territory on Tuesday.
Florida baseball is going for the season sweep against Florida State on Tuesday in Tallahassee. Gators pitchers have performed well against the Seminoles, and Cooper Walls is looking to keep that trend going with a midweek start. Walls has struggled in a relief role since exiting the weekend rotation, so giving him a start will hopefully get him right.
Florida is dealing with several injuries, including starting right fielder Cash Strayer and infielder Colton Schwarz. Brendan Lawson missed two games over the weekend against Ole Miss with an illness, but he could return on Tuesday. Florida has also been without one of its top relievers, right-hander Ricky Reeth, who has dealt with a shoulder injury for the last month.
