If there's one club that could use extra depth in its starting rotation, it's the Atlanta Braves . Recent predictions have the Braves going outside the organization to make up for a handful of injuries. One of the free agents connected to Atlanta is right-hander Lucas Giolito.
Spencer Strider, Hurston Waldrep, and Spencer Schwellenbach both began the season on the injured list, with left-hander Joey Wentz out for the season after he tore his ACL during spring training. Bleacher Report's Zachary D. Rymer linked the Braves to a two-time All-Star on Tuesday, noting that he's been consistent and can eat innings for the NL East club.
