Saturday at Lantow Field, bringing American Women’s Football League action to Claremore High School as they host the Houston Power in their season opener. The debut marks a new chapter not only for the Rage, but also for the local sports scene, as Claremore becomes a host site for one of the fastest-growing levels of the game. The Rage enter the season with momentum after a standout 2025 campaign in the Women’s Football Alliance.

They captured the American Conference championship and lost in the national title game, finishing 8-1 overall. Now, the Rage transition into the American Women’s Football League in search of another deep postseason run. Saturday’s opener begins a sixgame regular season slate before the postseason, with a mix of home and road matchups stretching into early June.
