Paulson Adebo absent as New York Giants open offseason workout program
Cornerback Paulson Adebo was one of three players absent as the New York Giants opened the offseason workout program.
The New York Giants ' voluntary offseason program began on Tuesday, with their entire roster in attendance except for three prominent players. The first is Dexter Lawrence, who is actively seeking a trade from the Giants this spring. Head coach John Harbaugh also revealed that cornerback Paulson Adebo and defensive lineman Sam Roberts were absent from the voluntary program.
"Paulson wasn't here," Harbaugh said. "There's no excused or unexcused. It's voluntary.
Guys come or not come according to their choosing. Voluntary-type time of year. " Adebo made a personal decision not to attend the Giantsโ program.
The 26-year-old signed with New York before the start of the 2025 season. He recorded one interception and eight passes defensed in 12 games, all starts, for the Giants last season. "Sam wasn't here because he had a surgery that he can't travel with yet," Harbaugh said.
